German media reported that Bayer Leverkusen are looking for a replacement in advance. Because they are likely to lose Xabi Alonso at the end of this football season.

Hoeness has impressed for Stuttgart and has been linked with a move to Manchester United. But it is Leverkusen who are keeping a close eye on the situation. 

Wagner is currently serving as assistant coach of the German national team. But has been linked with a move to Bundesliga clubs in the past, and Leverkusen are now eyeing another move.

Leverkusen are already looking for Alonso’s successor, with Stuttgart boss Sebastian Hoeness and Germany assistant manager Sandro Wagner among those being considered.
